Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning

The heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems are computer
controlled by a thermostat that acts on 1,500 separate dedicated
thermal pumps capable of providing heating and cooling to different “comfort zones” varying from 750 to 1,000 sq. ft. This type of system allows for a wide variety of layouts and offers superior comfort in addition to being, in some cases, self-sufficient within the energy network.

Climate control in these zones is achieved by injecting fresh air into the inter-ceiling space, after which the heating pump brings the air into occupied spaces at desired levels.

The building ventilation system provides:

Up to 3 full air changes per hour on each floor.
Fresh air supply throughout the building is 10 litres per second per person to provide the highest possible air quality
Electrostatic air filtration with a 90% efficiency rate
Humidity levels ranging from 20% to 40% depending on season
